I love food! Seriously, I go to trips and plan my day and excursion based on food that I want to try. Starting today until Sunday, Mitsuwa is having their annual Autumn fair where they bring specialty food in the market. Mitsuwa is a Japanese marketplace.  J and I decided to go today because it will be less crowded. Boy we were wrong! There was a long line for the okonomiyaki. But it was Japanese food heaven. J and I split everything in half except for the ramen, we got one bowl each. We got to try all these different types of food from different areas of Japan, and they were all delicious and scrumptious! I’ll just let the pictures speak for themselves.

Note: I left my camera at home so these were taken using my phone.

Okonomiyaki of Otafuku – Osaka style! Really delicious!

Fish cakes of Murakawa kamaboko. Got four different kinds with cheese, spicy cod roe, onion and squid, and spicy squid! They were really good!

Shino Soba Ramen of Chibaki Ya. It’s really good ramen, one of the best I’ve had so far. The pork melts in your mouth, the broth really flavorful and the noodles are light. I love the soft-boiled egg!

Waffles of Kobe-Fugetsudo with custard and matcha red bean paste. Delectable!

I forgot what this was called, but it’s really yummy and it has red bean filling! My sister said it looks like boobs. Haha.

Assorted Japanese pastries!

I am stuffed. I finished eating almost 2.5 hours ago and I’m still full. Good thing I ran today. I’ll run again tomorrow. Not that I need to, but I’ve been running a lot because I enjoy running! Til later!
